ATLANTA, GA (Kaneva INC) - How down is your sound? That's what celebrity judges including mega stars, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, top song writer and record producer, Sean Garrett and leading song producers, Dallas Austin and Block want to know. Combined with a world online vote cast through Kaneva - an online social entertainment network - these judges are bent on discovering the newest, most talented music sensation and rewarding them with a grand prize package valued at over $60,000.

Free to enter, anyone in the U.S. can join the How Down is Your Sound online talent search by easily uploading their original sound, song or music video to the How Down Is Your Sound web Channel on Kaneva.com. People around the world can cast their vote online and weigh in on their favorites. Now open for online entries through October 9, 2006, the top ten contestants who receive the most online votes will be invited to perform "live" in front of the four celebrity judges to decide the grand prize winner.

"How Down Is Your Sound represents the talent search of the future," said Ryan Cameron, official host of How Down Is Your Sound. "Where else in the world can someone off the street with literally no entry barriers, get the chance to share their sound and performance - whether it is rap, hip hop, or rock - with millions of people worldwide, as well as with hit making producers who can help rocket them into celebrity status."

In addition to getting a chance to perform for the celebrity judges, contestants will be eligible to win the Grand Prize package valued at over $60,000. Cash and prizes include $7500, studio recording time in Dallas Austin's studio DARP, a one day internship with Sean Garrett, and a demo deal that includes a 5 song package with Block's producers and a photo shoot. The finalists, grand prize winner and their sounds will be showcased online on Kaneva.com.

"We are excited to be a part of this search to discover new talent, enable voting across the globe and provide a fun online community," said Christopher Klaus, Kaneva's founder and CEO. "Kaneva is an online social network built around entertainment that empowers people to connect, express themselves, get recognized and socialize online in an entirely new way."

All submissions and voting will be handled completely online at the How Down Is Your Sound web Channel on Kaneva.com. Entries will be accepted up until October 9th, 2006. Kaneva members can vote for the top ten finalists from October 9 through October 25, 2006. Following a November 8th live performance in front of the celebrity judges, Kaneva will reveal the judges selection of the grand prize winner.
