NASHVILLE, TN (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Official Websites) - The highest grossing country music tour of all-time, the most attended concert tour this year, in any musical genre, at 33 venues across the country, the only country music tour to ever sell-out three consecutive nights at The STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, the highest grossing concert tour of the year, in any musical genre, at 26 concert venues across the country, the most attended country music tour ever at 17 concert venues, including New York's Madison Square Garden and at press time The Soul2Soul II Tour is the top grossing tour in any musical genre for 2006…and the list of accomplishments goes on and on and on.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill wrapped their Soul2Soul II Tour in grand fashion, with three consecutive performances at Las Vegas ' Mandalay Bay . But Soul2Soul II didn't need any luck when it began back on April 21st in Columbus , Ohio . Immediately following its initial on-sale dates in February, it became Ticketmaster's No 1 most requested concert ticket for 2006 and sell-outs became the norm as seats for multiple performances in Columbus, Chicago, Detroit, Jacksonville, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington and more, were being sold faster than they could be printed. Soul2Soul II Tour played consecutive dates at 13 concert venues, including New York City, Boston, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Chicago, a record at each venue for country music tours this year. The tour also played consecutive shows at 8 concert venues including Phoenix, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, a record at each venue for any concert tour this year.

The tour swelled to 73 performances in 55 cities to meet the overwhelming demand and production holds, usually set aside to accommodate space for the mega-production, were released to the public sooner than anticipated. The critics, fans and promoters alike, raved about the performances and the production that utilized a unique massive in-the-round stage complete with floor lighting and the latest in hi-technology video projection.

Country music's now reigning highest grossing tour of all-time grossed just shy of $89 million dollars, more than 40% of the previous high of $62 million set by Kenny Chesney and is currently the top grossing tour of any musical genre for 2006. Combined, Soul2Soul Tour 2000 and Soul2Soul II Tour will have collectively played to well over 2 million fans with combined gross sales of nearly $137 million dollars.

'We have been blessed over the past several months to have the opportunity to do what it is that we love to do most,' said Tim and Faith in a joint statement. 'We've spent time with the most passionate and professional individuals in the business (our crew), we've seen the beauty that is our country and we've been honored to have had the chance to meet so many fans along the way. It's an experience that could be difficult to replicate.'

Nearly 65 million albums sold, six Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards, 22 Country Music Association Awards, 16 Academy of Country Music Awards, 12 No 1 albums and more than 35 No 1 singles, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are not just country music's reigning first couple, they are each, in their own right, one of their generation's most successful performers. And the list of accomplishments rolls on.
