SAN ANTONIO, (AT&T Inc.) - Missed your chance to snag a pass to one of the fastest growing and hottest festivals around? AT&T Inc. announced today that the AT&T blue room will give fans unprecedented front-row access to this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival through daily, live webcasts of big-name performances, a 24-hour streaming radio station featuring interviews and shows by past and present ACL artists and on-site promotional opportunities for concert attendees. The AT&T Project D.U. site will also feature blog reports direct from the event and by the winner of this year's AT&T Project D.U. "Official Field Blogger" contest.

On Sept. 15 through 17, 2006, the AT&T blue room will feature exclusive performances from some of the more than 130 bands taking part in this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival. To date, artists scheduled to be featured live in the blue room include Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, John Mayer, Muse, the Flaming Lips, Son Volt, Thievery Corporation, Ben Kweller, Los Lobos, Aimee Mann, Jack Ingram, KT Tunstall, String Cheese Incident, and more. Webcasts will run from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central time each day. Following the event, much of the content will be archived on the blue room site allowing fans to relive their favorite festival performances. Beginning now, fans can listen to blue room radio on the site, a 24-hour streaming station featuring interviews and performances with past and present ACL Festival artists.

Through AT&T's Project D.U. site ( https://www.projectdu.com ), the company will also feature ACL blog updates from Victoria Welch, the winner of AT&T Project D.U.'s "Official Field Blogger" contest. A professional writer whose work has been featured on BlogCritics.org ( https://www.blogcritics.org ) and on the pages of the Burlington Free Press, Welsh's misadventures are recounted regularly on Revelry ( https://revelry.blogspot.com ), the personal blog she has maintained since 2001.

The AT&T blue room ( https://www.attblueroom.com/music ) is AT&T's groundbreaking online portal featuring exclusive musical content - such as in-studio interviews, live performances and unedited commentary by chart-topping artists - and is one of the fastest-growing live webcast sites in the industry. So far this year, the 2006 blue room lineup has featured webcasts from some of the biggest names in music festivals, such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Bonnaroo Music Festival, and Lollapalooza 2006. AT&T blue room is also the exclusive host of footage from the 2006 official Fashion Rocks Elton John pre-party and Fashion Rocks concert. Upcoming exclusive events on the AT&T blue room include KROQ Inland Invasion on Sept. 23, 2006, and Vegoose 2006, Oct. 28-29, 2006.

"For three years, music fans from Connecticut to California have had real-time access to live music from the Austin City Limits Festival through the AT&T blue room," said Mikal Harn, vice president, AT&T Consumer. "Broadband has dramatically changed the landscape of many industries; music is no exception. We're using the blue room and our on-site presence at high-profile concerts to stay on the cutting edge of such shifts, delivering exclusive content that our customers want while nurturing a creative platform for showcasing how AT&T products and services can connect people to their passions."

As part of the presenting AT&T sponsorship, and in addition to the blue room webcast, AT&T will offer festival attendees a wide range of enhanced experiences at this year's ACL event. AT&T Oasis and the AT&T blue room will give attendees the opportunity to see firsthand how AT&T products and services enhance the digital lifestyle while taking a break from the festival activities. Attendees will be able to test-drive such services as AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet, Cingular Wireless, and AT&T | DISH Network and get tips on tasks like downloading music, video and ring tones as well as managing photos online.

AT&T blue room and AT&T's event sponsorship is part of a strategic initiative to link the AT&T brand to premier communications and entertainment experiences, as well as to fuel sales and demonstrate how key products and services such as AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet and Cingular Wireless can meet the increasing consumer demands for value, choice and convenience. To experience the AT&T blue room, visit https://www.attblueroom.com/music .
