 SAN ANTONIO (AT&T Inc.) - The International Music Feed today announced a distribution agreement to deliver IMF's linear music channel and on-demand music videos as part of the AT&T U-verse(SM) TV programming lineup. Under the agreement, AT&T U-verse TV customers will have access to IMF's 24-hour music television programming, featuring music videos, performances and specials from around the globe. AT&T U-verse TV will also offer IMF's extensive on-demand music video library, which includes one of the world's largest collections of on-demand music videos from current and classic chart-topping artists. "We are delighted to add IMF's engaging and entertaining music content to the AT&T U-verse lineup," said Amy Friedlander, senior vice president of programming, AT&T Operations, Inc. "AT&T U-verse customers will have a diverse and robust musical experience through IMF's global fare." "AT&T U-verse is a natural distribution platform for IMF, since both IMF and AT&T seek to deliver new and compelling entertainment experiences to our customers," said Andy Schuon, president of IMF. "Through our music television service and on-demand library, AT&T U-verse customers can now experience the world's best videos, including the biggest hits from the U.S. and around the world." AT&T U-verse TV is delivered by Project Lightspeed, the company's initiative to expand the fiber-optics network deeper into neighborhoods to deliver U-verse TV, AT&T Yahoo!® High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled and, in the future, Voice over IP services. Through its subsidiaries, AT&T expects to reach nearly 19 million households by the end of 2008 as part of its initial deployment, using fiber-to-the-node (FTTN) and fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) technologies. Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
