BURBANK, CA (Warner Bros. Records ) - Warner Bros. Records is pleased to announce that it has signed best-selling soul artist, composer, and producer Brian McKnight to an exclusive long-term recording contract. His first album for the label, titled "10," will be his tenth overall. It will be released in November of this year.

"Warner Bros. has a long-standing tradition of success and integrity with their artists. I am honored to be a part of this amazing organization and I am looking forward to a long and great relationship," says Brian.

McKnight, whose multi-platinum albums include "Back At One" and "Anytime," has sold more than 16 million records worldwide since his platinum self-titled debut was released in 1992. As a songwriter and producer, the Buffalo, New York native has recorded with some of the music industry's biggest stars, including Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Willie Nelson, Nelly, Vanessa Williams, and Kenny G. Rolling Stone magazine praised his last album, 2005's "Gemini," calling it "painstakingly crafted contemporary R&B that is creative, innovative artistic expression." Brian has earned countless award nominations - Grammy Award, MTV Music Award, and Blockbuster Award - and received a Soul Train Award for Best Male Singer, an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Male Artist and an American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist.

"Brian is a triple threat as a singer, songwriter, and producer," says Warner Bros. Records CEO Tom Whalley. "His ability to reach audiences of all ages and musical tastes is a testament to his talent and versatility. We're delighted that he is joining the Warner Bros. family."

Brian will be a musical guest on the new Fox series "Celebrity Duets." The show, debuting with a two-hour episode on Aug. 29th, is an elimination contest that pairs recording stars with celebrities, with judges and viewers deciding the fate of each duo. The celebrities will compete for a $100,000 cash prize that will be donated to the charity of their choice.
