LOS ANGELES, CA. (Luck Media & Marketing, Inc.) -Rising pop star Whitney Wolanin's (pronounced WO-Lan-in) holiday schedule is getting busier and busier! Whitney will once again perform with her All-Star Band at Rockin' 5, a Christmas spectacular December 16th at the Germain Arena in Estero, FL. Whitney will perform songs from her forthcoming holiday album, "Christmasology," which includes several spiritual moments, including a beautiful a cappella approach to "O Come All Ye Faithful" and a gentle, soulful piano arrangement of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." Rockin' 5 is Southwest Florida's biggest and best holiday fundraiser, benefiting the Rockin' Christmas Fund which over the years has raised over $750,000 for various charities. The fund also includes a permanent college scholarship endowment, which every year awards students financial assistance with their college needs. This year, in addition to the scholarship fund, the event will benefit Fort Myers High School's Marching Band trip to London, England, Southwest Florida Symphony and various other youth groups. Also performing are the Fort Myers High School (London New Years 2007) Marching Band, the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra Organization, including the Chorus, Children's Chorus and other surprise celebrity special guests. Whitney recently wrapped-up recording in the studio for "Christmasology," featuring 15 of the world's favorite sacred and secular classics, and expected to be "choc" full of Holiday treats.
