BURBANK, CA. ll Music) - Warner/Chappell Music, the publishing arm of Warner Music Group Corp., and one of the world's largest music publishers, announced a worldwide music administration agreement with Fher and Alex Gonzalez of the Mexican rock band, Mana.

Warner/Chappell, which was previously home to Fher and Alex Gonzalez, has entered into an agreement to administer new compositions by Mana's award-winning primary writers. Separately, Warner/Chappell also extended its existing administration arrangement for select songs of the Mana catalog written in prior years.

In making the announcement, Richard Blackstone, Chairman and CEO of Warner/Chappell Music, said, "Mana are the undisputed kings of Latino rock. With their huge following in the United States and around the world, and a 20 year legacy of writing hit songs, Warner/Chappell is delighted to renew our relationship with Fher and Alex and is committed to finding exciting opportunities for their first-rate catalog."

Gustavo Menendez, Regional Director, Warner/Chappell, Latin America, added, "With their recent single topping several Latin charts, Mana is as popular as ever, and we couldn't be happier that they are rejoining the Warner/Chappell family. We look forward to a long lasting and successful partnership with Fher, Alex and the band."

Formed in 1986, Mana includes Fher (vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, harmonica); Alex Gonzalez (vocals, drums, electric percussion); Sergio Vallin (electric and acoustic guitars, sitar coral, requinto) and Juan Calleros (bass).

Mana records for Warner Music Mexico and has sold more than 19 million records worldwide and collected five Grammy awards and 13 Billboard Music awards. In its first week of release, their new single, "Labios Compartidos," debuted at No.1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart where it has remained for four consecutive weeks. Mana's forthcoming album, Amar Es Combatir, will be released worldwide on August 22, 2006.
