Sydney, AU. (EMI MUSIC Australia) - In just over 12 months, Melbourne rock band Kisschasy have officially hit the GOLD (35,000+) status for their debut album, United Paper People but the good news doesn't stop there. Kisschasy are going visual on September 23 with the release of their first ever full-length DVD titled "Kisschasy: The Movie" which runs over 2 hours! The film chronicles the band's most recent – and biggest - headlining tour of Australia which involved 37 shows in 42 days. It was shot entirely on mini DV from the very first day in Perth to the closing seconds of the after tour party in their hometown on the Mornington Peninsula. The DVD documents what it is like for a young band to tour this big country; setting to rest any misconceptions that the touring life is all glitz and glamour. Kisschasy: The Movie also features an exclusive insight into the touring lives of the band members, their crew, friends, family and support bands. Special features include a 17 song live-set shot at the Gaelic Theatre in Sydney plus the band's four music videos 'Do-Do's & Whoa-oh's', 'Face Without A Name', 'The Shake' & 'This Bed' with audio commentary provided by all four members of Kisschasy.
