Staind's Aaron Lewis Becomes A Father

NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Staind frontman Aaron Lewis became a father on Friday (April 5). His wife, Vanessa, gave birth to a baby girl, Zoe Jane Lewis, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

Lewis asked if he's ready for the responsibility of being a parent. "Absolutely, and I learned a lot of good things from my parents, and I learned a lot of things what not to do from my parents. But I opened my eyes far enough to see what it is I shouldn't do and what it is I should do," he said.

Now that his baby has arrived, Lewis plans to get to work on Staind's follow-up to Break The Cycle. Meanwhile, fans can get their fill of Staind on the forthcoming Family Values 2001 CD, which features Staind songs and guest appearances by Lewis with Stone Temple Pilots and Linkin Park. It hits stores May 7.
