Miami, FL (www.monstertaxi.com) - South Florida-based producer/remixer Monster Taxi, aka Jason Klein's latest project is one that may raise a few eyebrows. The song he co-wrote and produced, "Boogie Makes A Splash," was inspired by a porn flick starring Cytherea and Belladonna. Both indie and major online retail outlets including Beatport, CD Baby, iTunes and Tower Records have added the record which was included on Ministry of Sound's Annual 2006 for South America.

Klein first heard about Cytherea while listening to The Howard Stern Show. His local radio station, however, kept censoring the interview Stern was having with Cytherea since it was still on terrestrial radio. Two weeks later, a friend from Universal Music and Ministry of Sound requested a new single from Monster Taxi for an upcoming compilation. Klein enlisted classic rock singer Marco Cocchiaro and DJ's Austin Leeds and Ben Grassini, giving birth to 'Boogie Makes A Splash.' They also created Disco, Funk and House mixes.

The "XXX Wet Mix" of "Boogie Makes a Splash" became a part of Ministry of Sound's Annual 2006 for South America edition. Klein also enlisted his mentors DJ Grego and DJ Cubanito to do Tribal and House remixes. Other remixes included Andy Sikorski's Mirror Disco, Playground Superstar's Electro and a Heavy Metal version by DJ Monchi.

The song is currently being worked to Billboard Reporters and Mixshow DJ's. Select record pools have also been serviced. And 'Boogie Makes A Splash' is also available to national DJ services including Promo Only and Releasepromo.com. After initially testing "Boogie Makes a Splash," the record has now graduated into medium rotation from many of the country's hot mixers on the radio.

Klein, who has been associated with over 20 major label productions and remixes since 1998, started out playing in classic rock bands, until he discovered techno and dance music. He spent three (3) years working with legendary Brazilian DJ Grego as his keyboard player. Klein then created his own production company, releasing dance versions of the operas "Ave Maria" by Magic Sauce and "Barber of Serville (Figaro)" by Don Manuel. Since 2004, he's licensed several of his tracks under his label Toy Robot Records to Ministry of Sound, Universal Music and Sony/BMG.

The roster of artists Klein has worked with include Mariah Carey, Jim Brickman, Ricky Martin, and Savage Garden as well as a number of Latin artists: Noelia, Los Tigres Del Norte, Emmanuel and Christian Castro, along with a remix of the late Beny More's music. His production of More's "Bonito y Sabroso" went to No 1 on various Latin radio stations. A video was also released that both aired and charted on Latin video shows including Mun2's "The Roof" and HTV.

A full-length Monster Taxi album is slated for a September 2006 release and will also include a remake of Foxy's "Get Off" featuring two of the original members. An original track called "Memory Wack" featuring the vocals of Jennifer C (Murk, Hex Hector) and Cocchiaro. Both songs are also available on Beatport this month. Dance music divas Pepper Mashay and Rachel Panay will also have songs on the album.

"Memory Wack" will also be available on CD Baby later this month. It will feature remixes by Giuseppe D and DJ Cubanito. The song will be sent to all the record pools, Billboard reporters and mixshows. The promo will include a version of "Get Off" as a bonus track.
