San Francisco, CA (FSizzle.com) - Funk band Feroshus Sizzle announced today that it will be throwing a party entitled "SWEATY WALLZ" - an evening of stanky original funk and soul music, drinks, dancing, food and crazy fun - on Saturday, August 12th, 2006 in San Francisco.
The party will take place at Balazo 18 Gallery, located at 2183 Mission Street (at 18th Street), in San Francisco's storied Mission District and will feature Feroshus Sizzle's enthusiastically thumpin' and relentlessly raw original funk and soul music. Doors will open at 9:00 pm and the show will start at 10:30 pm.
San Francisco-based Feroshus Sizzle - which includes Tyrone (vocals), Ace Alan (bass/vocals), Deep (guitar/vocals/saxophone), Cornelius Von Morze (keyboards), and PJ (drums) - has been simmering in the kitchen for but a short time. The band is comprised of soul music vets with underground credentials and has appeared in such San Francisco Bay Area clubs as the Boom Boom Room, DNA Lounge, Shattuck Down Low and the Rockit Room and has opened for other reputed acts from their hometown such as Kofy Brown and Stymie and the Pimp Jones Love Orchestra. Feroshus Sizzle will funk up San Francisco's Elbo Room on Saturday August 26th when the band once again opens up for Stymie and the PJLO.
However the buzz around Feroshus Sizzle is not relegated to their immediate area - the band has been selling their CD and receiving fan mail from all over the country and as far away as the UK, Japan, and Thailand. The band's self-titled CD is now available on iTunes and at CDBaby.com and TowerRecords.com. In addition, Feroshus Sizzle has attracted nearly 19,000 friends from around the world on its MySpace page (www.myspace.com/feroshussizzle).
