SYDNEY, AU (Interscope Records) - Aussie rock trio Wolfmother will be joined by Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, and Dave England (better know as the dudes from Jackass) while filming Wolfmother's video for "The Joker And The Thief" in their native Australia. The second single from the band's self-titled debut (which is multi-platinum in their homeland) has the perfect Jackass title, "The Joker & Thief," and will be the featured music video & single for the upcoming Jackass: Number 2 movie, due September 22nd. At the helm of all the wild action will be music video auteurs The Malloys (The White Stripes, The Shins, Metallica, Blink 182).

Without giving away too much, expect serious backstage, on-stage, parking lot stunts and hijinks from the Jackass crew, as well as some fist-pumping rock courtesy of Wolfmother. Some next-level sh*t, you can count on it.

Following their work with the Jackasses, Wolfmother continues their domination of the US with some high-profile festival appearances including Lollapalooza, Chicago's KNDD End Festival and the Kuyahoga Festival in Cleveland. Additionally, they will be performing in New York at McCarren Park on September 9th and dropping by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno August 1.

In other Wolfmother news, the trio's summer anthem "Love Train" continues to pick up steam via its inclusion in the latest iPOD ad campaign. Check it out at: https://www.apple.com/ipod/ads/. With fans and unicorns clamoring for more, more, more Wolfmother singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale, keyboardist/bassist Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett look forward to hitting the states, maybe slightly bruised.
