NEW YORK (Redrocker.com) - From the "they said it would never happen" file comes news that Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth might tour together this summer. A posting on Hagar's official site (redrocker.com) says, "Believe it or not, Sammy & David Lee Roth are talking about touring this summer. Sammy was blown away at how well they got along together. Sammy says: 'If this happens, this would have to be the party of a lifetime!!!!'" No dates have been announced. There's no word on when the two former frontmen for Van Halen met, but it's safe to say Hagar has changed his mind about Roth. "The Red Rocker" once told that he was wary about any planned meeting with "Diamond Dave.""I'd be apprehensive, because I'm not sure Dave can be trusted. He's proved over and over again that he does crazy stuff, and he's a publicity hound, so can you imagine the publicity that would gather for Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth to be having a meeting somewhere, you know? So I don't trust him," Hagar said. "But, if I got on an airplane, row 2-D, and I sat down and, 'Roth!,' you know, is in 2-C, I'd say, 'All right, Dave, I hope this flight's a long one, because you and I got a lot to talk about!'"
