Oakland, CA (UGI Awards) - The always unpredictable and sometimes controversial award-winning gospel artist Tonex will be hosting the upcoming 3rd Annual Urban Gospel
Industry (UGI) Awards. Held Wednesday, June 28th at New Mt. Calvary Church in Houston, TX, the UGI Awards will honor the best and the brightest in Urban Gospel this time with Tonex at the helm.
We are excited to have Tonex as an instrumental part of our 3rd UGI Awards, stated Curtis Jermany, National Director of the Urban Gospel Alliance. Hes a true icon in urban gospel, and despite UGA being a comparably new organization in this industry, he has always been gracious and accessible in helping to forward our mission.
In keeping with putting urban gospel up-and-comers in the spotlight alongside the celebrity host, this years awards show will also be co-hosted by emerging Urban Gospel songstress Anna-Marie Pasley. This is what we are all about giving artists that are just on the verge the platform their ministry deserves, commented Jermany.
Performers and presenters scheduled to appear include Leon Timbo Sizemore, DJ Will, Shei Atkins, TWyse, Adrienne Archie, B.L.A.S.E., Platinum Souls, and Reggae artist Ryan Daniels, and more.
