NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - After further review by the Ventura County, Calif., District Attorney's Office, domestic violence charges against Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin have been dropped, according to a spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

There was no specific reason given for the dropped charges. Scantlin was arrested, along with his fianc�e Michelle Rubin, on Sunday after witnesses allegedly saw the couple arguing around 8:30 a.m. along the shoulder of Highway 126, near Piru, Calif. Both Scantlin and Rubin were booked at the Ventura County Jail and later released on $20,000 bail each.

Charges against Rubin have also been dropped.
