Snata Fe, NEW MEXICO (Bullseye Records) - New Mexico seems to be preparing for its own musical Desert Storm with great new bands like Soular and The Shins. Another hot alternative band making their way down from the enchanted desert is Racecar who is working on the follow up to their modestly successful debut. The self titled disc received awards from VH1, Radio Indy and Radio Gets Wild. The album was also initiated into the roster of Hit Records Network out of Santa Barbara associated with heavies like Dishwalla and Steppenwolf. "Mystical Ages", the biggest song from the album, is being re-mastered and catalogued by Bullseye Records of Canada, host to such greats as The Guess Who. The current recording sessions are building excitement, particularly with fans that have seen Racecar evolve from a dream into a compelling musical force. Racecar's Producer and Engineer, Jeffrey Mettling of Elu and Trinity Studio says the new material should "turn a few heads". The next album is scheduled to be out sometime late in 2007.
