NEW JERSEY (NJ newspaper) - India.Arie will be chairing the 14th annual AIDS Walk in New Jersey on Sunday, May 19th.

Arie will join the ranks of former Chairs, who include Gloria Gaynor and Queen Latifah. She's also signed the AIDS Walk New Jersey recruitment letter and is set to record PSAs which will be played on radio stations throughout the state of New Jersey.

Arie has also lent her voice to a charity single called "United We Sing," which will also feature Mya and Master P.
Sales from the single will go towards the Families of Freedom Scholarship of America, which helps children and spouses of the victims of the September 11th tragedy in the U.S. attend college.
