Nashville, TN (Kierra Kiki Sheard Official Website)- Eighteen year old Kierra Kiki Sheard, fresh off the success of her wildly popular first album, 'I Owe You,' is set to take her career to the next level with the release of her sophomore album, This Is Me.

Kierra's much-anticipated This Is Me 12 song album, will be released on EMI Gospel, June 27, 2006. EMI Gospel will also release simultaneously This Is Me Special Edition which will includes 18 songs, the entire album plus five bonus cuts and a live version of the title track. Fans will no doubt be both thrilled and stimulated by Kiki's new sound as she moves into a delivery of her messages through R&B and hip-hop while keeping it inspirational with 'Why Me,' a stand-out single from the new CD.

Kierra draws the inspiration she delivers through her music from her father, Dr. J Drew Sheard, (minister of Greater Emmanuel Inst. COGIC, one of the largest churches in Michigan) and mother, gospel icon Karen Clark-Sheard of the legendary Clark Sisters. Through their encouragement and support, a 9-year-old Kiki won a prestigious Stellar Award for Best Children's Performance as a debut featured singer on a solo release of her mother's album 'Finally Karen'. Her first CD 'I Owe You' made history debuting at number one on the Billboard Gospel chart and her last single 'Let Go' from her remix CD Just Until…went to No 1 on Japan's radio charts.

Dark Child Productions' Fred Jerkins, producers Warryn Campbell, Antonio Neal, Tommy Simms, PJ Morton, PAJAM and Kiki's exceptionally talented younger brother, J. Drew, produced This Is Me. 'I am so excited about this album,' says Kiki. 'This Is Me, really is me. It's the type of music that I listen to and the experiences that I've been through.'
