NEW YORK (Billboard) - Bjork has confirmed a host of additional dates at European opera houses in support of the upcoming album "Vespertine," due Aug. 27 internationally and a day later in North America. In addition to previously announced dates in Paris, the trek will also hit venues in Germany, Switzerland and two separate locales in London. Although a full North American itinerary is still being finalized, Bjork is scheduled to play New York's Radio City Music Hall on Oct. 4-5. The artist is the first person to admit that the upcoming tour may be more difficult than those of the past. "'Vespertine' is a strange one, because it's so much about that mood you create in your house with your friends and loved ones," she says. "It's about hibernation, making hot chocolate and reading your favorite book. It's not easy to capture this in a big room, which is why I'm looking to play smaller, more intimate venues."
