NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - This is Alanis Morissette's moment. On February 26th her new album "Under Rug Swept" hits the stores. To celebrate she'll do Letterman, Rosie, The View and Last Call with Carson Daily. Then she hops back over to Canada to cross the country in four days, giving press conferences and private performances for fans.

Then of course the whole week ends in Vancouver on March 1st. We spoke to Alanis recently in L.A. about her state of mind. �I�ve gone crazy many times, it�s not that scary of a thing to go crazy,� says Morissette. �You just keep walking.�

As for her expectations for her new album, Alanis has none. �I love selling records, I love money, I love abundance, I love all of it, bring it on. But� my main motivation is to write songs that really encapsulate a moment in time and once I�ve done that it�s a success to me.�
