NEW YORK (Yahoo) - Incubus's two-week vacation from the stage is officially over--the group heads back out on the road to support its latest album, Morning View, with shows through March 23 in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand beginning today (February 25) in Osaka, Japan. The Los Angeles band will play five shows in Japan, including a two-night stand in Tokyo, another half-dozen Down Under, and two more in New Zealand.

The tour comes on the heels of Incubus's European tour and several days back in the states hyping its upcoming Honda-sponsored American tour, set for April. The group's various goings-on also coincide with the one-year anniversary of when the band moved in to a Malibu hillside house to begin recording Morning View.

Frontman Brandon Boyd tells that he gets "a little bit choked up sometimes" when he listens to the album and reflects on the experience. "I listen to it now and actually it's almost nostalgic. I think of waking up in the morning slowly, having a cup of coffee on the porch watching the ocean, sitting in the sun. And then around noon or one o'clock meeting all the guys in the big living room, and sort of at our leisure making music. It was really, truly an amazing experience, one that I hope that we'll be able to repeat in some respect when we do a record again."

Incubus's 2002 Civic Tour kicks off April 11 at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon. Neal Weiss, Los Angeles
