NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Mystikal is likely somewhat disappointed with the sluggish performance of his latest release, Tarantula, which has sold only 365,000 copies since its release in early December. The album is the follow-up to the rapper's double-platinum 2000 set, Let's Get Ready. However, Mystikal might find solace in the fact that the New York Knicks have won three straight games since adopting his song "Bouncin' Back" as their theme song, reports the New York Post. One verse that was particularly inspiring, considering that the Knicks were previously on an eight-game losing streak, reads: "Ah, stick ya chest out, keep ya chin up/and sometimes ya' gotta get knocked down to get up." "Bouncin' Back" was produced by the Neptunes, who were responsible for Mystikal's Grammy-nominated hit "Shake Ya Ass." "Bouncin' Back" is currently Number 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The Knicks are home at Madison Square Garden Tuesday night (January 29) and aiming for their fourth consecutive win in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
