Latino artists who will take Hispanic urban music into the future. Known as Cuervotón, this collaborative effort and talent search will showcase new rising stars in the industry and help promote Latinos in the music business. To announce this search, Chingo Bling and DJ Tony Touch will tour the country stopping in New York and Houston beginning in January. New York, Chicago, Houston and Phoenix will host Cuervotón events for three months also beginning in January leading up to semi-final concerts in those same cities in April. Eligible undiscovered Latino artists will be selected by DJ Tony Touch, Chingo Bling, BRIDGEZ Magazine, Wu-Tang Latino and Machete record labels and other local judges after reviewing a CD submission.
One winner from each of the semi-finals in New York, Chicago, Houston and Phoenix will be invited to be the opening acts for a star studded final concert event in New York City on May 18, 2006. The final winner will have the opportunity to meet with executives of Wu-Tang Latino and Machete Records and a writeup on BRIDGEZ Magazine. This concert will be closed out by a performance by Chingo Bling and DJ Tony Touch who will continue to DJ into the night.
