NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - C-Murder's lawyers are claiming that the rapper, who was arrested last week on suspicion of committing second degree murder, was the victim of mistaken identity. C, whose real name is Corey Miller, is accused of killing 16-year-old Steve Thomas with a single gun shot to the chest during an argument on January 12th at the Platinum Club in Harvey, Louisiana. According to his lawyers, the cops arrested the wrong guy. "He thinks it's very unfortunate that this young man was killed," says Miller's lawyer, Roy Maughan Jr. "But he's absolutely not guilty."
