BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - David Crowder*Band, recently nominated for six 2006 GMA Music Awards including Group of the Year, begins its special guest run on the Wherever You Are Tour with Third Day today (February 16) in Fairfax, Virginia. The acts will share stages together through April 15, and many dates have already sold out.

Supporting its enormously acclaimed third studio release, A COLLISION, David Crowder*Band's other major 2006 GMA Music Award nominations include Rock/Contemporary Album and Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song ("Here Is Our King"). The band is also recognized in the Special Event Album category for its exclusive recorded contributions to MUSIC INSPIRED BY THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, PASSION: HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD, and WOW CHRISTMAS GREEN.
A COLLISION was also recently named among the Top 100 Albums of 2005 by the editors of iTunes.com and was voted No 1 favorite inspirational album at the site.

On April 4, David Crowder*Band will also be featured on PASSION: EVERYTHING GLORIOUS, an all-new concert recording taken from the recent Passion 06 worship conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Other artists on the project include Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Charlie Hall.
