NEW YORK (CDnow) - The long-awaited solo debut from Phish singer-guitarist-songwriter Trey Anastasio is finally getting closer to fruition. The as-yet-untitled album is now penned in on Elektra's release schedule for April 30, and a North American tour is set to begin in late May. Dates have not been announced yet, however. The album features the seven-piece band (which includes a four-piece horn section) that Anastasio toured with in 2001 and a 35-piece orchestra. It was produced by Anastasio and Bryce Goggin, who produced Phish's last album, 2000's Farmhouse.
