PALO ALTO, CA and VIENNA, AUSTRIA (Mozart.com LLC) - Mozart.com LLC today announced it is pulling together a last-minute party on GRAMMY Day (Wednesday, February 8) for fans of Classical Music, on www.Mozart.com.
"We had such a great response from Mozart's 250th Birthday in January, which kicked off our site," says Chris Andrews, Executive Producer of Mozart.com, and the former Executive Producer of the Grammy Awards Webcast.
"Just as we were cleaning up after our big birthday party for Wolfgang, we realized, Oh My God, the GRAMMYs are next week. Fortunately we have a lot of tools already in place, to bring people together for an event such as this, like Mozart's Studio, the polls, and the Interactive Guestbook. Plus I think we can use www.Mozart.com to bridge what is going on at the GRAMMYs, to an international audience."
On Mozart.com, there is a list of the more than 20 GRAMMY Awards that have been awarded based on Mozart's compositions. As well on the front page of Mozart.com are tributes and testimonials to Mozart, from such people as GRAMMY winner and violinist Joshua Bell, GRAMMY winner and producer/drummer Andre Fischer, and GRAMMY-nominated jazz singer Tierney Sutton.
Currently in the Guestbook on www.Mozart.com, people from around the world are writing about their "Favorite Mozart Moment." The previous Guestbook included a broad range of innovative writing and poetry, from almost every country in the world, wishing Mozart a Happy 250th Birthday.
Mozart.com is the Official Worldwide Host for Mozart's 250th Birthday.
