LOS ANGELES (Yahoo) - Kid Rock was in Los Angeles last week not only for the American Music Awards but to also to remix "Lonely Road Of Faith." The new version will reflect Rock's affinity for country music, featuring Nashville session musicians on fiddle, mandolin, and pedal steel guitar. The new-look "Lonely Road Of Faith" will be the next single from Rock's latest album, Cocky.

Meanwhile, Yahoo caught up with both Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker bandmate Uncle Kracker regarding the group's recent USO concert for American servicemen in Frankfurt, Germany. Rock said it was a rewarding experience. "It's a great thing to do," he said. "I'm glad I was part of it. It was something I'd definitely do again. Beyond even entertaining the guys, just hanging out with them, getting to know 'em, talk to 'em, taking me out shooting guns, or taking me out to the country bar to jam, you know, whatever it was, we had a great time doing it and we were happy to be there."

Meanwhile, Uncle Kracker put into perspective what the U.S. troops mean to him. "For people like them to allow us to be able to do what we do, I mean, where else could we run around like f--king idiots, you know what I'm saying, and talk about how much money we make and how much drugs we do," he said. "Where else could we do that and get away with it if it wasn't for those people doing what they're doing? You know, so it's kind of a hats-off to them."
