London, UK (Sony BMG Music Entertainment UK) - Just weeks after releasing his debut single, Shayne has today been included in the 2006 Brit Award nominations, in the 'Best Single' category. That's My Goal was the second largest selling single of 2005, despite only being released 10 days before the end of the year!

Coldplay, James Blunt, Sugababes and Tony Christie make up the rest of the shortlist, and the award will be decided by a public vote - something Shayne has a bit of pedigree in! Voting will be open from January 17th-29th, through commercial radio stations across the UK. The awards will take place on February 15th, at Earls Court in London.
