Hollywood, Ca. (Tim Greene Films.com) - Award wining writer, producer, director, cinematographer and editor Tim Greene of Tim Greene Films.com and The Ultimate Hip Hop Motion Picture Consortium recently locked down a major distribution deal for the new comedy-drama feature film 'The Golden Empire'. The film stars veteran actor Clifton Powell and Thavdy Pang. The Golden Empire is a story that takes place in a Chinese fast food restaurant in the hart of the hood. Jennifer (Thavdy Pang) works at the front counter of this establishment where she encounters people of many different cultures and modes. Jennifer's life at the restaurant is only bearable through her poetry and her day dreaming of her future. Old School (Clifton Powell – Ray, The Gospel, Never Die Alone & Rush Hour) gives a brilliant and arousing performance as a disabled Vietnam Vet that hangs out disturbing the patrons that frequent the establishment. Jersey Style Films and Inner City Films For A Better World produced the film. Look for the film to be released later this year.

'It was fun for me to go after distribution for this film. With a great actor like Clifton Powell in the film it took me less than two weeks to lock down a world wide distribution deal,' says fellow filmmaker Tim Greene. It also shows that independent filmmakers can get major actors to be in their films.
Tim Greene is currently working with 4 other major stars and 2 hot comedians for his 2006 film projects.
Also look for Tim's new 2006 releases, which are:
An Intimate interview with the Massi – Documentary
Raykwan's Cuties II (The Big Pay Back)
And the highly buzzed about G-Rated Kid's Hip Hop Comedy Film.
The kid's film comes complete with a 19-song soundtrack and 2 half hour television episodes to kick off this children's market franchise feature film.
