 DAYTON, OH (Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra) - To celebrate the greatest musician of all time, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra has assembled a remarkable lineup of concerts and events that show off Mozart's nearly unbelievable musical talents. This far-reaching music festival includes both free and paid events performed in a variety of settings by a wide variety of musical groups. Seventh Arts Productions in Britain has provided a new documentary film for showing at Neon Movies. Internationally known artists, such as Emanuel Ax, Janina Fialkowska, and Jon Nakamatsu will reveal the magic of Mozart's piano concertos. The Schuster Center Mozart concerts will feature pre-concert speakers and events. The Dayton Opera will host some of the region's finest emerging vocal talent for the May gala concert. The Dayton Mandolin Orchestra will perform prior to four of the Schuster concerts. There is even a new commission! Composer Robert Rodriguez will provide an Agnus Dei movement, to complete Mozart's unfinished Mass in C minor. The NCR Miracle of Mozart Festival consists of two parts. Throughout will be community concerts that are free to the public. Amadeus Unbound will take Wolfgang for a "free ride" around the wider Dayton community. All the activities of Amadeus Downtown occur in downtown Dayton.
