Singer/Songwriter Steve Yanek On The Move

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Independent artist and songwriter Steve Yanek teamed with Nashville radio promoter Bill Wence and together they achieved nice results for Steve's songs from his latest album "September" including ten straight weeks inside the top 20 Americana chart on Roots Music Report peaking at number seven. In total over one thousand stations spun Steve's music according to reports including one hundred on AMA's national chart.
The artist's "September" album has earned Steve attention from multiple publications both in the United States and abroad. Combined, the radio promotion and media coverage, proved to be successful for the aspiring independent. Currently, Steve is back in his studio (Primitive Recording) working on an album of brand-new songs scheduled to be released in the winter of 2024.
He has also begun compiling a massive archive project that will consist of several decades of unreleased music including two albums worth of songs recorded in LA with 5-time grammy winning engineer, Bert Battaglia, who passed away in 2022.
The collection is scheduled for completion and release in the winter of 2024.
Additionally, Steve has been consulting with movie and television music supervisor Barry Coffing. To date Steve has logged thirty-one songs inside Barry's "We Get" music database with twenty-one being downloaded by professional music supervisors. Currently, Steve is in the process of booking his 2024 regional performance dates from his home base of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
