Nashville, TN (Hot Apple Pie Official Website) - Rising country music band Hot Apple Pie recently played at the 2005 Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival in Niceville, FL. The three-day event pays homage to the mullet, a bottom dwelling and extremely active fish that inhabits bayous in the area. However, it seems the guys had a different vision in mind when they heard about the gig.

"The first time I heard that we were playing at a Mullet Festival, I had a dismal thought of thousands of people with bad haircuts, but as it turns out, that's not what the festival is at all," says lead singer Brady Seals.

Hot Apple Pie have been winning over live audiences with their eclectic sound and show-stopping musicianship. This summer the band opened for such heavy weights as Tim McGraw, ZZ Top and LeAnn Rimes.

This week Hot Apple Pie heads to the Big Apple for the CMA Awards. While in New York, the band will perform at the Tug McGraw Foundation's Inaugural "Ya Gotta Believe Gala" on Monday, Nov. 14. Proceeds from the event benefit the Foundation's programs supporting brain cancer research and providing scholarship funds to young collegiate leaders.
