LOS ANGELES (AP) - Everlast, who had one of 1999's biggest hits with "What It's Like," is now fronting an all-star band called Mary Jane's Boyfriends, possibly referring to the slang term for marijuana.

The band features Stephen Perkins of Jane's Addiction, Stephen Carpenter of the Deftones, Mellowman Ace, B-Real, Sen Dog and Bobo of Cypress Hill, Rogelio Lozano of Downset, and Marty O'Brien of Methods Of Mayhem.

Mary Jane's Boyfriends is scheduled to perform at the Viper Room in Los Angeles on Saturday (December 15). The band played a previous show May 29 under the name Los Mariwanos.
