New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fast-rising MC and lyricist King Cruff brightens the spirit with his infectious new single and music video "Soufflé" out today via Universal Music/ Tuff Gong Collective. Infusing positivity and playfulness into the track's Caribbean flavoured rhythms, King Cruff serves up an irresistible danceable groove in his original 'punky' sound. With his intricate, rapid bars firing throughout the melody and effortlessly gliding into the pockets of the chorus, "Soufflé" is a testament to the young Canadian/Jamaican artist's MC skills.

King Cruff first showcased his smooth patois-laced lyrical style on his major label debut single "Samurai Chop" which landed him early recognition from various media outlets including The Jamaica Observer, CBC News, iHeartRadio Canada, Dancehall Mag, CBC q, The Hype Magazine, CTV News, and The Jamaica Star.

Since announcing his signing with Universal Music and Tuff Gong Collective last October, King Cruff has been named one of Pandora's Artists To Watch: Caribbean 2023, performed at School Night to a full capacity crowd, and performed at both the LA and Toronto opening nights of the Bob Marley One Love Experience alongside Skip Marley.

Coming up this month, King Cruff will be performing at Baby G in Toronto and FLAVOURS & VIBES hosted by Keisha Chanté and MC Bondé and presented by Jones & Jones Group and Performing Arts Brampton.

Jamaican-raised, Toronto-based MC King Cruff (Solomon Marley-Spence) was born with the talents of songwriting and performance in his blood. The Tuff Gong/Universal Music Canada-signed artist sees his songs as think pieces set to 'punky' rhythms. Drawing on his own audio engineering background, the versatile King Cruff fuses genres across the diaspora including hip-hop, Afrobeats, dancehall and reggae into his original 'punky' sound. An introspective storyteller, King Cruff explores the juxtapositions of human behaviour with energizing, innovative sounds that uplift and inspire for an ear-bending amalgam of Black musical styles.
