Grave Jones Uncovers Truths On New Single "Lies"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) What are the lies that you are currently living? Perhaps they have come from others. Perhaps they come from within. Whatever the origin, pop rock musician Grave Jones is here to confront them with the titillating new video for his new single Lies - releasing September 29th.

The stylised video - directed by Karl Hadife in his third collaboration with the artist - sees Grave and his band (adorned in his signature all black) blast the single amongst real people recalling real lies that they've faced in their lives. The result is a rawness and vulnerability in the video's imagery that matches the anger of the track.

A move towards grunge for the traditionally pop-rocker, Lies' darker subjects matter rips through with choral bursts of anger and betrayal in Grave's signature raw vocals, and almost monochromatic music video. Sonically Black Sabbath meets Nirvana, visually NIN meets David Fincher, Lies transcends to something new altogether.

Lies was written and produced against the backdrop of political turmoil and humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. Steeped in anger both inwards and out, Lies marks a departure from Grave Jones' previous pop inspired songwriting sensibilities for a powerful emotion first driven approach. The result is an anthem for the hurt and betrayed, complete with grunge attitude and classic rock style solos.

The single is the third in a series to be released from Grave's upcoming album Heartrage Hotel. The LP will be the first full-length record for Grave Jones under his current moniker but marks a long-awaited return to music for the artist.
Under real name Rabih Salloum, he fronted the acclaimed indie sleaze electropop band Slutterhouse, with whom he shared the stage with acts like The Klaxons and Sleigh Bells and had sync deals across MTV 2 and EA Sports.
Lies will be available across all platforms September 29th with previous singles Heaven Only Knows and Smithereens available everywhere now.
