What: ...welcomes Rock for Reading founder and Chicago recording artist Alice Peacock to co-host a live WXRT radio show with DJ Lin Brehmer benefiting Rock for Reading. Peacock will perform songs from her soon-to-be released CD.
...welcomes Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame member, Steve Winwood, who will also appear at Potbelly during the live WXRT broadcast promoting his House of Blues concert benefiting the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.
...welcomes recording artists Tegan and Sara, one of the most exciting young musical rock acts today, who will perform songs from their extensive repertoire.
...supports Rock for Reading with a $1 donation for every sandwich sold at the 55 W. Monroe location during the live broadcast. The support for Rock for Reading comes on the heels of Potbelly's month-long effort supporting hurricane relief with a donation to the Red Cross from the sale of mini cookies in September.

Rock for Reading is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting the rising trend of illiteracy and to renewing interest in reading through a series of high profile musical concerts.
