NEW YORK, NY (Sony BMG Legacy)- With over 43 million records sold in the U.S., Journey's music continues to resonate with longtime fans, while also winning over new generations. On November 15th, fans of all ages will have the chance to experience a classic Journey performance recorded in Houston in 1981 in support of their 9x-platinum "Escape" album. "Live in Houston 1981 - Escape Tour" will include both a CD and DVD, each remixed and remastered in stereo and 5.1 surround sound. The package will be released by Columbia/Legacy.

Featuring the lineup of Steve Perry (vocals), Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass guitar), and Steve Smith (drums), "Live in Houston 1981" includes "Lights," "Stay Awhile," "Open Arms," "Who's Cryin' Now," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Wheel In The Sky," "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'," "Stone In Love," "Anyway You Want It," "Where Were You," "Keep On Runnin'," "Escape," "Mother, Father," "Line Of Fire," "Dead Or Alive," and more. Additionally, the CD will feature the track "The Party's Over (Hopelessly in Love)," which wasn't filmed that night.

Produced by Steve Perry with the full cooperation of the band, "Live In Houston 1981" will feature a 16-page color booklet packed with rare photography, tour memorabilia, and other surprises. The DVD has interviews with the band and a slide show of rare photos.

Originally aired on MTV during the first months of its existence, this is the first time this concert will be released in its entirety. Only five of the 16 tracks have been previously released.
