NEW YORK (AP) - This year's soul "It Girl," Alicia Keys, has announced a tour to help ring in the new year. The trek - her first national solo tour of the U.S. - will kick off on Jan. 22 at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Conn.

Keys, who is touring in support of her four-time platinum debut album Songs in A Minor, which tops many critics' and artists' top 10 lists of the year, says, "This year has been incredible and I am so looking forward to getting out and playing live around the country, it gives me an opportunity to be intimate with the people that have supported my music and I can't wait."
