OVERLAND PARK, (Sprint) -Sept. 21, 2005-Sprint today announced that three chart-topping superstars, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and The Game, have set new records with Music Tones downloaded by eager fans to Sprint PCS Vision(SM) Phones. 50 Cent has become the first artist to have two albums achieve Platinum/Gold on Sprint with more than 1 million Music Tones downloaded from his album Get Rich or Die Tryin', including "21 Questions" and "In Da Club," giving him Platinum status, and more than 500,000 Music Tones downloaded from his latest album, The Massacre, including "Candy Shop," giving him Gold status. Snoop Dogg attained Gold status with his album Snoop Dogg R&G: Rhythm & Gangsta The Masterpiece, including "Drop It Like It's Hot" and "Signs." The Game attained Gold status with Music Tones from his album The Documentary, including "How We Do" and "Hate It Or Love It."

"Sprint customers around the country are personalizing their mobile phones with their favorite songs," said Jeff Hallock, vice president of consumer product marketing and strategy for Sprint. "It's impressive for artists to reach Platinum and Gold status, and it demonstrates that Sprint customers want to stay connected to their favorite artists."

"The popularity of Music Tones from 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and The Game is an excellent example of the type of compelling music applications available through Sprint," said Rio Caraeff, General Manager of Universal Music Mobile, the mobile division of Universal Music Group. "The fact that these albums have been available for a relatively short period of time and have had such a rapid rise to Platinum and Gold status is proof that mobile music applications are becoming more sophisticated and more a part of the individual fan's daily life."

Sprint was the first U.S. carrier to offer ringers that sound like actual songs with the introduction of Music Tones in July 2003. Sprint offers thousands of ringers, including Music Tones, Video Ringers and Voice Ringers. Sprint continues its leadership in mobile music with four Platinum and eight Gold artists selling more than 1 million and 500,000 Music Tones respectively from a single album. 50 Cent joins Beyonce, Usher and Ciara in achieving Platinum status on Sprint, and Snoop Dogg and The Game join Lil Flip, Petey Pablo, Destiny's Child, T.I., Mario, Mike Jones and 50 Cent in achieving Gold status on Sprint.

Sprint PCS Vision customers can purchase and download ringers directly from their Sprint PCS Vision Phones or at www.sprint.com. To access ringers on the phone, select Menu/ Downloads/ Ringers and Get New. From there, customers can browse thousands of titles available from Sprint.

Sprint PCS Vision includes services that allow customers to take and receive pictures from select Sprint PCS Vision Phones; browse the Internet at speeds faster than most dial-up connections; check personal and corporate email; watch clips and stream audio for news and music; and download Music Tones, video and voice ringers and full-color, graphically rich games and screen savers, all on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network.
