Blacksmith Releases 'Less Ego More Soul'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Exciting producer and MC 'Blacksmith' is back with his highly anticipated new album 'Less Ego More Soul'. The Bristol based artist gained his reputation having performed heavily throughout the UK and Europe, turning heads every step of the way. Having supported artists including Plan B, Common, Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Evidence, Common, Mos Def and Brother Ali, Blacksmith has made a name for himself as one to watch across the live circuit.
His incredible new album 'Less Ego More Soul' which features recent hit single 'Everything Is Blue' showcases Blacksmith's self-drive to create a record that could quite easily not have seen the light. It's an album that seeps emotion which transcends in the most powerful way.

Opening up about what the record means to him Blacksmith mentions, "Less Ego More Soul the title of the project represents stripping everything back to the core which is a feeling the majority have experienced in one way or another over the course of the last 18 months. It's a body of work that may never have come together without the world taking a pause during the pandemic but is full of emotion trying to find optimism at times when it feels like it's hard to come across"

Talking about the lead single 'Best Years' Blacksmith continues, "The lead single 'Best Years' optimises this and talks about the importance of trying to overcome adversity in strange and confusing times and trying to find the light from a dark period, in turn putting that behind and focusing on making the next year the best possible."

The impressive journey for Blacksmith has seen him achieve thousands of streams on Spotify alone. He's been championed by the likes of major radio in BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1 Xtra and Kiss FM and has received raving reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone Magazine, Earmilk, Link Up TV and GRM Daily. Now back with his best work to date he is set to continue his journey with self-drive, honesty, style, and passion.
Making him such an excited artist to watch!
