Mark Chesnutt Gonna Help A Life

NASHVILLE, TN. -Mark Chesnutt will join Permission to Hunt's Ultimate Outdoors and the Catch-A-Dream Foundation to make a dream come true for a terminally ill child.

In an effort to make a young man's wish come true (in conjunction with Permission To Hunt Ultimate Outdoors and the Catch-A-Dream Foundation), Mark Chesnutt will take young Austin Childers on a dream hunt. Mark and Austin will hunt Canadian white tail deer the week of September 19 in Saskatchewan.

Young Austin Childers of Georgia has been diagnosed with Mitochondria Disease, a life threatening disease. Austin, who is an avid outdoorsman himself, has a dream to embark on the ultimate hunting expedition--to hunt the Canadian white tail deer, and that is exactly what he will do thanks to the combined efforts of the entire staff of Ultimate Outdoors.

Mark D. Miller of Ultimate Outdoors (Fort Dodge Iowa) specifically requested Mark Chesnutt to participate because of Mark's known love for his family (3 boys and his wife) and the outdoors. 'Hunting, fishing and the outdoors is something I simply enjoy. It's peaceful—the sounds, the smell, the wildlife—it's nature. My boys are at an age now where I can bring them along and we have a lot of fun. I can find no greater pleasure than to watch Austin make his dream a reality,' says Chesnutt accepting the invitation to participate in this fulfillment. The Ultimate Outdoors pro-staff will guide the hunt.

Portions of the hunt will be taped for television to be broadcast on Ultimate Outdoors TV, Sportsman's Channel in Iowa on Des Moines Channel 8 (CBS), on Mediacom cable network across the Midwest and select Cox Cable outlets nationwide in addition to being featured in Ultimate Outdoors monthly magazine.
Catch-A-Dream grants once-in-a-lifetime outdoor experiences to children 18 years old or younger who have a life-threatening illness.
