New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ric Wilson, "everyone's favorite Chicago-based music artist, organizer, and activist," (Essence) today releases new single, "blah blah blahs" (Feat. Kièla Adira). The jockeying, club-ready track was produced by Norbert Bueno who also produced Wilson's 2020 summer protest anthem "Fight Like Ida B & Marsha P."
"blah blah blahs" has an earworm beat, and its chorus, sung by Adira, is a perfect recap of a mellow but celebratory mood: "Chillin' where we are / We know who we are / Pour the shot shot shots / Mute the blah blah blahs."
"This song was inspired by when I was drinking out with some friends and some said 'fuck the blah blah blahs," says Wilson. "It's a lot of bad news going around and I'm just tryna focus on the good news."

"blah blah blahs" follows in a string of recent singles this year by Wilson, including "Woo Woo Woo," a "rallying bolt of cardinal energy" (The FADER) b/w "Everybody Red In The Face," and collaborative singles "Maybe Chocolate Chips" (with CHAI), "Wake Up, Get Down" (with Cupidon & KALLITECHNIS), and "WHOA WAIT" (with Bluestaeb & caycaleb).
