SYDNEY, Australia (SONY BMG Music Entertainment) - Back with one of THE finest collections of songs you're likely to hear this year, Alex Lloyd has announced his first national tour in two years in support of his self-titled fourth studio album, to be released on October 9. Tix on sale Monday, September 26.
During the course of his illustrious career, Alex Lloyd has achieved a phenomenal degree of success across Australia. Now on the cusp of releasing his much anticipated fourth studio album, Alex is once again set to win over the masses with this next chapter in his recording life.
Featuring the current single, 'Never Meant To Fail', his brand new self-titled album is scheduled for release on Sunday October 9 and can be best described as an intricate & stunning cross between Alex's first two hugely successful albums, 'Black The Sun' and 'Watching Angels Mend'.

Coinciding with the release of this album, Alex has announced that he will undertake his first national tour in two years.

Having now become a household name, Alex Lloyd is, quite simply, one of the finest and most popular singer-songwriters Australia has produced. His three solo albums - 1999's 'Black The Sun', 2001's 'Watching Angels Mend' and 2003's 'Distant Light' - have collectively sold more than half a million copies and following the release of each album he has been awarded an ARIA for Best Male Artist (2000, 2001, 2003).
Tix on sale Monday, September 26 - full tour details are below. These will be the only Alex Lloyd headline concert shows for 2005.
