New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Punk Rockers Miss Vincent continue to surge ahead to their anticipated debut album 'A Funeral For Youth' (out 17th September via Silent Cult) with the release of their brand-new single and official music video for 'Rosaline'. Their new single 'Rosaline' is inspired by William Shakespeare's iconic tragedy 'Romeo and Juliet' and the symbolism towards the loss of innocence you experience as you grow up.

Miss Vincent's lead singer and front man Alex Marshall had this to share:
"In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo was originally in love with a girl called Rosaline. She is never seen, nor heard from, but her purpose as a character is still really important. She's the reason why Romeo ends up in the same place as Juliet - and she also symbolises Romeo's naivety and innocence that is lost to the torment of love."

Continuing to delve into the inspiration behind the single Alex mentions: "That's what our song Rosaline is about: the loss of innocence you experience as you grow up. Looking back on the process of this loss is crushing, and I often find myself longing to somehow recapture it. We never forget that first naive love, or the creeping fear that grows as you get older. This song deals with the moment of realisation that on top of losing your youthful innocence, all you really have left is an existential dread that covers pretty much everything."

'Rosaline' will appear on the band's debut album alongside recent heavy-hitting single 'Heresy' and the rollicking rock 'n' roll bruiser 'Gravity'. Both singles creating a carefully constructed path towards the album and showcasing just how important this record is set to become for so many. The band are rightfully picking up the recognition they deserve after recently being championed by the likes of Rock Sound, Kerrang! Radio, Idobi Radio (USA), Dead Press, Punktastic, All Punked Up and many more.
To coincide with the release of 'A Funeral For Youth' Miss Vincent have announced two special headline shows where they will be playing tracks from the debut album. The band will be appearing live in Southampton and London and tickets are on sale now.

Tour dates:
27/10 Southampton The Joiners
28/10 London Signature Brew
