NASHVILLE, TN. (Luck Media & Marketing/ www.luckmedia.com) - Ron Clapper, the multi-faceted visionary who founded Midas Records, has now teamed up with Nashville hitmakers Keith Follese and Brad Allen to launch Midas Records Nashville. In addition to Follese and Allen, who will be heading up the company's A&R department, five of today's most experienced industry veterans are set to spearhead the company's marketing, artist development, publicity, sales, distribution and operations activities: Mike Martinovich, Stan Moress, Bob Morrison, Al Schiltz and Alan Siegel. "The opportunity for an aggressive independent label to flourish in Nashville has never been better than it is right now," says Moress. The label is currently in process of structuring its radio promotion department.
Two of the most notable, creative forces in country music today, Keith Follese and Brad Allen established a working partnership which has flourished on the strength of over 200 cuts with major recording artists. Follese and Allen have played a consistent part in Nashville hit-making over the past decade. Follese, recently named BILLBOARD Songwriter of the Year, has had No 1 hits with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Randy Travis and Little Texas. The songwriter/publisher duo held the No 1 spot on the Country Singles Chart for a record 15 weeks.
Mike Martinovich, Stan Moress and Al Schiltz, partners of The Consortium, have a recent history in the development and success of an independent country music label. They enjoy backgrounds spanning many facets of the music industry, including major label marketing, marketing consulting, and artist management.
