NEW YORK (VH1) - The Dave Matthews Band will release a new single and video from their acclaimed Stand Up album next week.
The video for the single "Dreamgirl" will premiere on VH1 and VH1.com Wednesday, August 17 at 11pm and features Julia Roberts, a long time fan and friend of the band, in the starring role.

The video was shot in various locations around Brooklyn and Harlem in New York City. A highly conceptual episodic clip, the video features Ms. Roberts as the dream girl with the members of Dave Matthews Band inhabiting her dreams. This is Ms. Roberts' first filmed role since the birth of her twins last year.

"Dreamgirl" was filmed over two days earlier this summer by Dave Meyers, who besides directing some of DMB's best-known clips has helmed music videos for artists such as Outkast, Kanye West, Jay Z and Jennifer Lopez.
