NEW YORK (www.myspace.com/dfactor) - NYC singer/songwriter Dfactor has begun recording songs for a hoped-for full length release in 2006. He's also playing an occasional solo acoustic/electric live show. His next live outing will be on August 31, 2005 at 8pm at Pianos on NYC's Lower East Side. Dfactor recorded drum tracks in recent weeks, and is working slowly on bass and guitar tracks. Titles of songs to be recorded include Say Yeah!, Lucky Guy, Me & Debra Lee, Melody Guaranteed, In My Present State and others. Dfactor was the former frontman of NYC rock band Anthemic Pop Wonder, which recorded songs, played shows and released CDs from 1999-2004. Since dissolving the band, Dfactor hasn't stopped penning new rock-pop songs - demos are available at his MySpace and Pure Volume sites. "I love writing songs - one day it might be a fast rocker, the next it might be a catchy pop number," says Dfactor. "My backlog of songs for recording is up in the 30 and 40 number? I'm trying to pick the best 15-20 I can record this fall while I got my buzz on." See Dfactor live rockin' the acoustic on August 31, 2005 at 8pm at Pianos NYC or catch him at Waved Rumor, his daily rock and roll blog.
