NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Slipknot has postponed its headlining U.S. tour, which was slated to run from Nov. 21 through Dec. 21, due to a family emergency. The wife of percussionist Shawn Crahan (otherwise known as No. 6) had surgery last week at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., for Crohn's disease. Her recuperation will take six weeks and Crahan plans to stay at home in Iowa to take care of her and their three young children. The band's European tour with American Head Charge is still expected to launch as planned on Jan. 20 in Helsinki, Finland. The U.S. dates will be rescheduled after the band tours Japan, Australia, and Canada.
