LONDON, UK (www.myspace.com/swarvedawizard) - Born and raised in NW London is THE WIZARD. At the age of 14, SWARVE started rapping and writing lyrics. He had a great love for HIP-HOP and was always spitting or listening to it!
At 16 SWARVE joined his brother's sound-system, FREQUENCY CRU' and is still part of FREQUENCY CRU' and has great input towards the crew. SWARVE was also manager of an up & coming GARAGE crew who despite their talents, could not work together! He also made a HIP-HOP track which will be released one day as well as more on all sorts of genres!!
At 18, SWARVE started writing GARAGE lyrics and is one of the founder members of NO GIMMICKS! As well as writing lyrics you can find SWARVE making beats/producing and his aim is to one day become a well respected artist!
Now aged 21 SWARVE is growing as an artist and is working on collabo's with DANIELLE SENIOR, BLEMISH, JADE FOXX (USA), SHIZZLE, IVORY (USA) to name a few. All have been impressed with his work rate and his ability to entertain as an artist. Not only do his lyrics captivate you and make you laugh, his performance is of a high energy level.
He has been compared to KANO although we beg to differ. The only similarities we see are the fact that SWARVE is clear to understand as is KANO.
Wizard has performed recently at CARGO, BACKPACKER's PUB, PLAYROOM BAR, PLAN B, MEDIA HOUSE and more. He also spat back to back earlier this month with SHIZZLE on INVINCIBLE RADIO. (Sets are available). Look out for Wizard guesting on DEXPLICIT's radio show in the next few weeks.
Swarve da Wizard has also been offered a year clothing sponsorship from US clothing company FULL ARMOUR.
Swarve da Wizard is featured on the DVD, "North West At Large & Best Of West", which was out June 2005. One of his tracks, Don't Start Dissin', has also been featured on the mix CD accompanying the DVD. Look out for more DVD appearances coming through in the next few months!
At this present time da WIZARD is working on his mixtape. We have no release date as yet. We are also working on the video of his 1st single release, I GOT GAME! We are also getting ready to release the 2nd single, I AM DA WIZARD!
